This annual industry update will include representatives from oil, gas, mining and state government, and it’s a great chance to see what’s happening behind the scenes, powering our state.

The Greater Copper Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate forum Thursday September 26th from 5:30-8pm at the Glennallen High School. Come out to say hello and hear from House District 36 and Senate District R candidates on the issues important to our area. The Chamber will have Subway meals for sale at $10/ea. We will meet in the commons and then move to the High School auditorium for a Q&A session.

If you hunt and fish within or adjacent to Wrangell St.-Elias National Park and Preserve, please join me in Tok for the first NPS meeting pertaining to subsistence food security resilience on July 16th from 6pm- 8pm. This is an opportunity to hear from NPS officials on what subsistence food security means to them, as well as an opportunity to voice what it means to you.
